What to Expect

Join us, as our church family comes together to worship. No matter what your age, you’ll fit in. Whether you wear a suit and tie, jeans and a t-shirt, or anything in between, you’ll fit in just fine.

When you enter the Sharon Baptist Church and you’ll experience a family of believers who love the Lord and each other and who know that in this place they will encounter the presence of God. There will be a host of members to greet you and answer questions.

Greeters will welcome you at the door, ushers will provide you with a bulletin and help you find a seat. If you have children 6th grade or under, ask for directions to the Nursery or Junior Worship, where you can check them in to this safe and fun area.

Our Sunday services begin by worshipping God through song. We then meet at the alter collectively to pray as a family. Then the preaching and teaching from the Bible by our Pastor, Bishop Keith W. Reed, Sr. Through the Word of God we are challenged, guided and encouraged. We learn more about God, about the bible, and about ourselves. There is the offering where we worship the Lord through giving. Lastly there is “the SBC News” which is how we keep up to date on the many activities underway, after which the service is ends with a closing prayer.

After the service, join us in our café, browse in the bookstore, or, if you prefer, simply take a minute to look around before you leave. You’ll see how we enjoy one another’s company as we fellowship after the worship experience. All that’s missing is you!
